Patients

  • The parking structure is a 24 hour lot, with no minimum/maximum time in one space. However, we do ask that you notify the Keck Parking office if you plan to remain in one pace for more than 72 hours.
  • The office is located on the lower level of the Keck Parking structure just adjacent to the 1500 San Pablo building (Main Hospital).
  • Operating hours are Monday – Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm)

Yes

  • Day parking for the first 11 hours is a flat rate of $8.00
    After 11 hours the rate is $12.00
  • 24 hour parking passes with in-and-out access to the structure is $12.00
  • Weekly parking with in-and-out access to the structure is $50.00
  • Monthly parking with in-and-out access to the structure is $180.00

The multi-day pass will be the only ticket you need.

  • Before the time of purchase the white colored ticket is no longer needed
  • Once you purchase the multi-use pass, it becomes valid for use immediately.
  • Insert the multi-use ticket in the exit gate, and please remember to take it back, as it will be returned to you
  • Re-entry will be done by placing the multi-use pass into the entry gate.
    (The same place the white ticket is dispensed)

  • If you are arriving: Upon entering, please pull a white ticket and stop by the parking office before you leave.
  • If you are leaving: Please press the assistance button located on the exit gate (do not hold the button down; doing so will disrupt the communication between you and the person trying to assist you, and can result in your call not being answered)

Please contact hospital Security. They will be able to assist you as best as possible, until the Keck Parking office reopens. Hospital security may be contacted 24-hours and 7 days a week at (323) 442-8571

  • Valet is an option here at Keck, and the cost is $15.00
  • Valet opens up as early as 5:00am, and vehicle keys must be retrieved by 7:00pm
  • There is overnight valet available, and the cost is $20.00 (total for the day). Keys must be retrieved from the Hospital Security office, which is located across from the Keck Parking office.
  • The Keck Hospital Patient and Family Experience department provides complementary Ambassador Escort services throughout the Keck Medical Center campus. The first pick-up begins as early as 8:30am, and the last drop-off is at 5:00pm. Patient escorts are provided between Keck Hospital, and USC Norris Cancer Hospital.
  • Please contact Keck Parking Operations, or the Patient and Family Experience department with any questions or concerns you may have regarding the Ambassador Escort Services

Acceptance of parking privileges (by registering for a permit or pass or entering our facilities) constitutes owner/operator agreement to hold USC blameless for any loss or damage to your vehicle, its attachments, accessories or contents as a result of fire, theft, vandalism, collision, or any other cause.

  • The parking office prints badges, controls access and issues parking assignments for all staff, faculty, volunteers and those contracted with Keck.
  • The office is located on the lower level of the Keck parking structure just adjacent to the 1500 San Pablo building (Main Hospital).
  • Operating hours are Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, badges will be processed until 4:00pm. We do ask for those with groups of three or more to make an appointment ahead of time.

This access is granted through the Keck parking office; however, access to these buildings will take a minimum of 72 hours to process due to additional clearance requirements.

  • You are required to display your parking permit at all times while parking in any USC parking lot or structure. Your permit must be displayed on your rearview mirror or dash board. Parking in spaces marked, “Carpool”, “EV – Electric Vehicle”, “Vanpool”, “Reserved” all require a specific permit. Vehicles parked without an appropriate permit will be cited by USC Enforcement.
  • Parking in red zones, on sidewalks, in driveways, blocking handicap access ramps, on any grass area, in front of hydrants, in fire lanes, in multiple parking
  • Yes, some permits are valid in other lots after hours and all day on weekends.
    • You may contact the Keck Parking office to verify the additional locations for where your permit is valid.
  • After-hour access does not “roll-over” into the next day. Vehicles would need to be vacated before 8:00am (Monday-Friday).
  • Instructions for appealing citations are located on the back of your ticket – (step #3). It is recommended to address the citation in a timely manner to avoid an increase in citation fees.
  • Tickets are linked to the vehicle’s registration. Tickets which go unaddressed will increase in cost, and can lead to vehicle immobilization, and collection activities.

Yes, however please be sure the following have been completed prior to driving onto campus with a different vehicle:

  • Ensure the vehicle is registered with Keck Hospital Parking Operations. You’ll need to complete a brief application, providing information on the additional vehicle you wish to register.
  • Your parking permit must be displayed in the vehicle you plan to drive, and park with.

Permits are nontransferable, and you will be held responsible for all citations issued to your permit regardless of the vehicle it is displayed on.

  • A report must be filed immediately through USC Department of Public Safety, or your local law enforcement agency.
  • Bring a copy of the report to the Keck Parking Office.
  • The permit will be registered as lost/stolen.
    • Lost/stolen permits which are recovered must be turned in to Keck Parking Operations immediately.
    • Permits registered as stolen which are found to be in use will result in a fine up to $1,000, and/or vehicle immobilization
    • Lost/stolen permits reported to Keck Parking Operations without a valid USC DPS or Law Enforcement report will require an administrative fee in order for the permit to be replaced.
